Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Royale Blackjack (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run a fair, safe card game. We don't sell your data, show advertising, or use tracking or analytics cookies.
Who we are
Royale Blackjack is operated by Jack Stanford, an individual based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. For anything privacy-related, contact jack@sonot.cloud.

How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To provide the game and your account (performance of our contract with you): signing you in, keeping your chips, hands, stats and friends, running tables and leaderboards, answering support tickets, and sending the service emails you ask for (data exports, deletion confirmations, ticket replies).
- To keep the game safe and fair (our legitimate interests in protecting players and the service): reviewing reports, moderating chat, investigating cheating, collusion or abuse, securing accounts, and keeping an audit trail of staff actions.
- To comply with the law (legal obligation), for example responding to lawful requests from authorities.
We only email you about your account and support requests. We don't send marketing emails, and we don't use your data for advertising or automated decisions with legal effects.
What other players can see
Your username, profile picture, chip balance, statistics, recent hands and leaderboard positions are visible to other signed-in players. Your friends can see when you're online and which public table you're at. Chat messages are visible to everyone at that table. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Staff access
Authorised staff (moderators, safety officers, support and administrators) can view account details, chat, reports, chip ledgers and hand history, and can observe any table, including private tables, to enforce our Terms and keep the game fair. Staff actions are recorded in an audit log.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure. Because we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, we don't need to ask for cookie consent.
Who we share it with
- Google, to sign you in. Google's use of your data is covered by Google's own privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider, which stores and processes data on our behalf under a contract and only on our instructions.
- Our email provider, which delivers and receives support and account emails on our behalf.
- Authorities, where we're legally required to or need to protect someone's safety.
If your data is ever transferred outside the UK, we make sure it's protected by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Account and gameplay data: for as long as your account exists.
- Table chat: about 24 hours, unless a message is reported.
- Reports and moderation records: up to 12 months after they're resolved, or longer while a ban they relate to is in force.
- Support tickets: up to 24 months after they're closed, so we can help if the same problem comes back.
- Data-export and deletion links: expire after 24 hours and 1 hour respectively, and work only once.
- Login sessions: expire after 30 days of inactivity.
- When you delete your account: your name, email, picture, Google link, username, sessions, friends and blocks are erased immediately. Hand history and chip records are kept in anonymised form so other players' game records and our fraud checks stay accurate; they can no longer be linked to you.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can:
- Access your data and take it elsewhere: use Email me my data in Settings. We email a one-time link to your sign-in address, and it only works while you're signed in.
- Erase your data: use Delete my account in Settings and confirm from the email we send you.
- Correct inaccurate data, restrict or object to our use of it: email jack@sonot.cloud.
We'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Age restriction
Royale Blackjack is only for people aged 18 and over. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its personal data.
Security
Connections are encrypted with HTTPS, sign-in is handled by Google so we never see your password, and access to player data is limited to staff who need it.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes we'll update the date above and let you know in the game. Questions? Email jack@sonot.cloud.
