Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Jack Stanford (the United Kingdom), who operates Royale Blackjack (“the Service”). By creating an account or playing, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

1. No real money

Royale Blackjack is a free social game. Chips are virtual and have no monetary value. They can't be bought, sold, traded, transferred outside the game, or exchanged for money, prizes or anything of value. No real money is wagered or won, and the Service is not a gambling service. Chips are a licence to use a game feature, not your property.

2. Who can play

3. Your account

You sign in with Google and are responsible for activity on your account. Choose a username that isn't offensive, misleading or impersonating someone else; staff may change usernames that break these terms.

4. Rules of conduct

When you use the Service, you must not:

5. Moderation and safety

Players can report chat messages and block other players. Our staff review reports and may remove content, mute, remove you from a table, adjust or reset chip balances, suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms. If several players report the same person in a short time, that person may be muted automatically until staff review it. To keep the game fair and safe, staff may observe any table, including private tables.

If you think a moderation decision was wrong, email jack@sonot.cloud and we'll take another look.

6. Fair play

Cards are shuffled by our servers using cryptographically secure randomness, and game outcomes are decided only by the cards dealt and the actions taken. If a technical fault affects a hand, we may cancel it and refund the chips staked. Our records of balances and hands are final.

7. The Service

We provide the Service free of charge and “as is”. We may change, pause or stop any part of it, including game rules, bonuses and leaderboards, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

8. Our content

The Service's design, artwork, code and branding belong to us. You may not copy or reuse them except as needed to use the Service normally. You keep ownership of chat messages you write, and you allow us to display, store and moderate them for the purpose of running the Service.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, because the Service is free, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss or for loss of virtual chips, and our total liability to you is limited to £100.

10. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or that have been inactive for a long time. Virtual chips are lost when an account is closed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and tell you in the game; continuing to play means you accept them.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
